The Role The Vendor Outreach team at Plate IQ is responsible for contacting our client’s vendors and collecting payment acceptance methods with the preferred method being virtual credit card. The team is proactively reaching out to vendors, educating them on the benefits of virtual cards, and then enabling accepting vendors as virtual card recipients. The Manager of Vendor Outreach will support a team of individuals tasked with outreach quotas and incentives that ultimately result in greater transactional revenue. The role will involve setting and maintaining these outreach quotas and incentives through data tracking metrics and overall revenue driving opportunities. This person is also responsible for preparing vendor lead data that promotes the revenue driving strategies outlined by the Head of Operations. Ultimately, this person will distribute target lists, monitor and manage Salesforce, Salesloft, and Periscope platforms to assess what is working vs. what is not, and setting the team up for success. You will coordinate internally with the Head of Operations, Product, Engineering, and Sales to ensure that we are targeting the vendors that can have the greatest impact for our customers. Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to manage a team towards collective goals while hiring, onboarding, and training new hires
Documenting workflows to better communicate our processes
Designing effective scripts and talk tracks for the vendor outreach team that drive positive results
Familiarity with Salesforce and demonstrated ability to monitor sales-type metrics and adjust strategy accordingly based on results
Deep excel experience with with the ability to produce analytical results by use of vlookups and pivot tables
Strong overall analytical skills to successfully sift through information and data that allows for revenue driving opportunities
Natural curiosity to dig for additional data and information to inform proposed solutions
Strong ability to fulfill obligations and produce results when interacting with internal stakeholders
Experience in software-as-a-service (SaaS) and/or hospitality preferred
