Job Description:
Provides expertise and coordination for data analysis and interpretation for the Essentia Institute of Rural Health. Responsible for building and maintaining complex research databases including a Virtual Data Warehouse to support and enhance EIRH research activities. Creates and develops essential research project data sets, reports and deliverables to ensure availability and timely dissemination of accurate information in support of research projects. Plans and designs data extraction methodology and data layouts, and performs data analysis and interpretation. Builds external partnerships, identifies and incorporates new data sources, and guides research informatics team members. Experience with Healthcare Business Intelligence or Clinical Research Data Management is strongly desired. This is a remote, work from home position.
Education Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field of study and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Computer Programming or Systems Analysis position including documented experience creating SQL queries or documented SAS experience in a research environment.

OR

Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field of study and a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Computer Programming or Systems Analysis position including documented experience creating SQL queries or documented SAS experience. Experience in a research environment preferred.

OR

Minimum of 9 years of experience in a Computer Programming or Systems Analysis Position including documented experience creating SQL queries or documented SAS experience. Experience in a research environment preferred.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
