Job Overview
We're looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager capable of spearheading and inspiring a vibrant team aimed at enhancing the Netflix user experience on TV, mobile, and web platforms. This position entails improving app performance, reducing errors, enhancing accessibility, and up-leveling the aesthetic appeal of our apps. Qualifications
Proven experience in a hands-on engineering role with expertise in frontend technologies and a strong understanding of backend services.
Leadership experience in managing a team of software engineers, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for client applications and a strong product sensibility
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, balancing long-term vision with the urgency of immediate needs.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse and distributed team.
Experience with accessibility best practices is highly desired.
Passion for movies, TV series, and technology with an understanding of the streaming media industry is a plus.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $190,000 - $920,000.
