Technical Program Manager
Pinterest is looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Program Manager to drive Quality outcomes in partnership with engineering, product, design and other TPMs.
What you’ll do:
Drive Quality across the Pinterest product by ensuring we have well defined quality goals and that we are meeting them.
Define quality and code coverage metrics and work across the organization to educate and ensure teams are meeting the quality goals. Identify and mitigate risks across all the Core teams.
Refine the SDLC framework and drive adoption.
Leverage best practices to create processes to streamline collaboration between stakeholders.
Influence teams and build relationships with key stakeholders across disciplines and teams.
Build effective and transparent communication channels to adaptively communicate schedules, priorities, status and risk to various functional stakeholders at all levels of the company.
What we're looking for:
BS in a technical discipline or equivalent experience (5+ years in a technical role).
4+ years experience in a Technical Program Management.
Strong technical breadth and judgment - ability to quickly ramp up and go deep on a range of technologies, ability to identify technical risks and tradeoffs.
Comfort with a fast-changing environment and ability to operate independently.
Focus on execution and delivery in a data-informed environment.
Exceptional relationship-building skills, organizational awareness, and ability to persuade peers to accomplish program objectives while holding yourself and your team to a high standard of accountability.
Excellent communication skills.
