We are GDIT. The people supporting and securing some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country.
GDIT is seeking an Oracle Application Express (APEX) Developer to join our team supporting the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)'s Corporate Business Systems (CBSOM).
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Design, develop, and document new applications features and functionalities
- Maintain and support existing applications on the APEX platform
- Perform system analysis and system development tasks
- Develop standard and customer defined reports and dashboards and provide support for ad hoc reporting
- Maintain the interfaces between client solutions and other systems
- Adhere to data architecture guidance
- Development of best practice methodologies such as SDLC and Agile etc.
- Continuously identify opportunities for application improvements, performance tuning and resolving issues
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to staff and management
- Work with Oracle Support on service requests
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare and conduct presentations and prepare written reports
- Present project plans, status, and progress reports to the Project Managers
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years or 8 years of relevant experience. Two thirds of the experience need to be in Oracle Application Express (APEX)
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time
- Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong background with Oracle Application Express Development (APEX)
- Data modeling
- Oracle PL/SQL
- JavaScript familiarity
- Preferred qualifications (optional)
- Knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
- Previous Department of Energy experience
- Oracle Application Express, OBIEE and Tableau certifications
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification
- Experience with ServiceNow for incident management, problem management, and service request management

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
