About You

Nutrafol is seeking a talented creative with a proven ability to concept and develop big ideas and write elevated, engaging, and informative copy for our Hair business. You’re able to learn the nuances of the unique Nutrafol consumer journey—particularly the regulatory standards and notes of authenticity that comes with a brand known for science-backed formulas. You know how to speak to different audiences in an inherently elevated brand voice that still sounds relatable, human, and genuine. You’re always percolating new, out-of-the-box ideas. And you enjoy a fast-paced environment that hinges on collaboration.

You will be an integral part of the Creative team, joining a group of specialized Copywriters, where you’ll be working across Brand, Growth, and Retention channels. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll own your portion of briefs and work closely with design and cross-functional partners to bring content to life across the user journey. During critical pulses, you’ll sell-in concepts and ideas that push the Nutrafol brand forward. 

Responsibilities:

  • Concept campaigns and co-create with design teams to imagine and deliver final products that push the envelope creatively. 

  • Present ideas clearly and confidently with stakeholders.

  • Partner with Growth, Retention and Brand teams to craft interesting, educational marketing copy that meets (and at times exceeds) briefs.

  • Think strategically about copy (where is the lead coming from, what would they be curious to know, what can I address to get them to purchase, etc.).

  • Take science-heavy terminology and write-ups and transform them into relatable, consumer-friendly content.

  • Match tone of voice to closely align with brand standards, while also working with the Copy team as we level-up our voice. 

  • Curiosity and eventual understanding of the rigorous guardrails we have as a brand, including language set by our Product, Science, and Regulatory teams. 

  • Ability to work on tight timelines and hit deadlines. 

  • Capacity to stretch between concepting, writing, editing, and proofreading with agility. 

  • Work collaboratively across marketing and digital departments.

  • Execute top-quality copy from concept to delivery, complying with brand standards in execution of marketing materials.

  • Bring unique ideas and POV to the table.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in digital copywriting for an agency or brand; DTC and Health & Wellness experience is a plus. 

  • Strong writing, verbal, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Strong ability to incorporate data and research into copywriting.

  • Proven talent for creating fresh, unique, and professional copywriting.

  • Excellent communication skills. 

  • Strong problem-solving and conceptual skills.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to successfully juggle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
