Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate closely with business users to refine requests and tailor solutions striving to always produce easily consumable, actionable outputs with a regulatory state of mind
Develop and maintain detailed, insightful reports and dashboards to support business applications and analytics, adapting to growing data and trend demands.
Conduct in-depth ad hoc analysis to provide actionable insights for business decision-making, ensuring that all analyses are thorough and relevant.
Continually refine reporting processes and dashboard designs for enhanced performance and quality by developing a deep understanding of the intersection of data consumption and business process allowing us to align with changing business needs.
Proactively address data challenges to boost business outcomes by identifying areas for exploration across financial, commercial, and operational domains.
Champion the latest data technologies and methodologies, staying ahead of industry trends to elevate team productivity and platform functionality.
Work closely with various teams, leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and foster a culture of data-driven excellence.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance focusing on leveraging technology to lead best in class detection, automation and trend analysis.
At least 5 years of experience in crafting complex, highly optimized, and readable SQL queries, demonstrating excellence in database management and data manipulation.
Proficient in advanced analytical techniques such as segmentation, cohort analysis, time series analysis, and survival analysis, ensuring comprehensive and actionable insights.
Solid experience with reporting tools like Tableau and analytical tools like Pandas, ensuring the creation of effective data visualizations and robust data analyses. Familiarity with data visualization best practices is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, underscoring a strong foundation in technical principles.
PREFERRED: Solid background in the deposits or payments sector, with comprehensive knowledge in compliance, fraud detection, risk management, and financial data analytics, reflecting a proven track record of addressing industry-specific challenges.
Compensation:
The base compensation range for this role is $125-140k annually. The displayed salary range reflects an average base salary for the position across the US. The base salary offered to an applicant may be higher or lower based on their specific skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, or training. This range excludes commission, bonuses, equity, or benefits.
