Join the Tyler Grange ecology tribe! We are looking for a GIS Consultant/Data Analyst to help us drive our Ecology GIS Capabilities throughout the business. The role will involve streamlining our GIS outputs across the Ecology Discipline and require inter office collaboration, to build a strong GIS/Data management team. The location is flexible but would require travel to other locations when needed.

You should be adept at using up to date GIS software and in-field digital data capture methods. Be comfortable in making decisions to drive our GIS capabilities across the business. We’re also looking for a leader to mentor our budding consultants and graduates.

To join us in setting new standards and driving our GIS Capabilities forward, you need:

• Technical oversight and responsibility for internal digital data processes such as master templates
• Collaborating with the Ecology Technical Team to drive digital innovation and transformation across the business.
• Experience of supporting a team within an Ecological / Environmental consultancy to ensure consistency in outputs.
• Hands-on experience with GIS software, and in-field digital data capture methods.
• Experienced in digital data capture interrogation and manipulation to help us get the most out of the Ecology data our consultants gather.
• Expertise in utilizing digital data capture to improve efficiency in internal processes and data communication across deliverables, such as automation of data outputs.
• Desirable but not essential skills would include experience of a wide range of data capture techniques for Ecology such as drone mapping, and the ability to implement this process across the business where required.
• Experience in previously managing a Team and demonstrating good Leadership capabilities
